The former Rose Marie Butera, youngest of 14 siblings was raised in a Christian home in Rochester, New York, water baptized at the age of 12 and baptized in the Holy Spirit at 16. At the young age of 14 she was already teaching Sunday School and playing the piano in her home church services, at Rochester Christian Assembly. She was always active in different ministries and her love and dedication to the Lord has never diminished to this day. At present, she is the First Lady of Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center and has been since 1970 as well as First Lady of Abundant Life Ministries International since 1986.  While serving by her husband’s side in Ministry, she received her Ministerial Diploma from Logos Bible College from New York City in 1989.

While traveling with her husband during their years of church and tent evangelism ministry, they had their first son who traveled with them. At their first Pastorate, Bethel Full Gospel Assembly, in Jamestown, New York, 2 more children would be born and she continued to play the piano, organ, and accordion, teach Sunday school, and run the youth program as well as assist her husband in leading the choir. She also was Superintendant of the Sunday School program and a leader for the D.O.R.C.A.S Ministry (dedicated to needs of ministries and missionaries). Their second Pastorate would be here in Nutley, the former Nutley Assembly of God on Bloomfield Avenue, where their last child would be born and her ministries would expand to counseling, women’s ministry, starting and overseeing a successful bookstore and managerial staff, Sunday school teacher, leader and preacher.

In 1997, she became the Office Manager for the Abundant Life Worship Center and continues to speak at conferences and prayer breakfasts.  Her vast background has included the co-leadership of the East Coast Youth Ministries of the C.C.N.A (Christian Church of North America) and assisted her husband in full time Church and Tent Traveling Evangelism Ministry in the United States. She has traveled with her husband abroad to the Holy Land and was the main speaker for the women’s conference in Argentina.

Sr. Associate Minister, Rose Marie Bruno co-hosts a vibrant television ministry with her husband, that began in 1980 and is currently broadcast on the internet and aired throughout the tri-state area each week on cable networks. She also continues to co-direct, “Peter Bruno Ministries”, providing a fresh view of Foundational Principals, Faith Alive Ministry and Spiritual Order in the church. This ministry has included the Evangelistic – Missionary field, and the Pastoral – Apostolic field, where the birthing of Spiritual Pastor – Sons and Daughters and Satellite churches is a priority.

She has been married to Bishop Peter Bruno since June, 1958 and they have raised 4 children and have 13 grandchildren.
